Turnpike Exit numbers below are New/Old Numbers. New exit numbers reflect mileage posts.

 

From Turnpike West of Harrisburg(e.g.  Carlisle, Pittsburgh)
Exit Turnpike at Harrisburg Exit 247/19. Use right-most toll booth.  Immediately after paying toll, take Route 283 to Lancaster (about 30 miles).  Route 283 turns into Route 30 East. Continue for about 9 miles to the Lancaster Host Hotel on your right (after the 4th traffic light). (about 45 minutes from Exit 247/19 - Route 283)

From Turnpike East of Lancaster - (e.g. Philadelphia)
Go West on Turnpike. Exit Turnpike at the Lancaster/Reading Exit 286/21. After paying toll, take your first left onto Route 222 South. Exit Route 222 onto Route 30 East. Continue on Route 30 East for about 5 miles to the Lancaster Host Hotel on your right (after the 4th traffic light). (about 1 hour from the King of Prussia Exit 326/24)

From State College / Lewistown
Take Route 322/22 South to Harrisburg. Use Route 81 North to cross the river. Take Route 83 South to go around Harrisburgto Route 283 South/East. Route 283 turns into Route 30 East in Lancaster. Continue on Route 30 for about 9 miles to the Lancaster Host Hotel on your right (after the 4th traffic light). (100 miles from Lewistown).

From Delaware
Take Route 7 north to Route 41.  Continue north on 41 until it ends at Route 30 (Gap). Turn left and continue on Route 30 West approximately 13 miles. The Lancaster Host Hotel will be on your left.

From Baltimore Route 83 
Take Route 83 bypass around York to the Market Street Route 462 Exit 19/8 ( Market Street – Route 462).  Cross Market Street and continue to Route 30 (3rd traffic light).  Turn right and continue on Route 30 East to Lancaster (approximately 23 miles) and around Lancaster on Route 30 East for about eight more miles. The Lancaster Host Hotel will be on your right after the 4th traffic light. -  (about 1 1/4 hours from Towson)

From Washington, D.C. 
(about 2  1/4 hours from Silver Spring, Md - 110 miles)

Take I-95 to the Baltimore Beltway (695) going west toward Towson.  Take Route 83 North.  Follow directions From Baltimore Route 83 above.

OR

Take Route 29 ( Colesville Road) North through Columbia.  Take Route 70 East to the Baltimore Beltway(695) going west toward Towson.  Take 83 North.  Follow directions From Baltimore Route 83 above. 

From Scranton 
Take Route 81 South to Exit 90/30 (Route 72 Lebanon). Follow Route 72 south (through Lebanon, Manheim, East Petersburg) to Route 283 East. Route 283 quickly changes to Route 30 East. Continue on Route 30 East about 7 miles to the Lancaster Host Hotel on your right (after the 4th traffic light).  (about 2.75 hours - 125 miles)

From Allentown
Take Route 78 West to Krumsville. Follow State Road 737 south (approx. 5 miles) to Route 222 South toward Lebanon.

(The following section may be outdated due to additional construction of the 222 bypass.)

Exit 222S at sign “ U.S. 422 West to Lebanon” (Disregard sign to Lancaster) Drive past Berkshire Mall stay in left lane (Do Not take U.S. 422 or Penn Ave exits). By-Pass ends onto Rte 724. Head toward Shillington about 1 mile to Route 222S. Turn right

 

Continue on Route 222S to Route 30 East. Continue on Route 30 East for about 5 miles (becomes Lincoln Hwy) to the Lancaster Host Hotel on your right (after the 4th traffic light). (about 1.75 hours - 75 miles)

From Northern New Jersey
Take Route 80 to Stroudsburg. Take Route 33 South to Route 22 West. Follow Route 22/78 West around Bethlehem and Allentown. Follow directions From Allentown.
OR
Take Route 78 to Allentown.  Follow direction From Allentown .

From New York Area and Central New Jersey
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 6 (Route 276 - PA Turnpike - West).  Follow directions From Turnpike East of Lancaster

From Southern New Jersey
Cross either bridge into Philadelphia.  Follow signs to Route 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) North to the PA Turnpike at King of Prussia.  Follow directions From Turnpike East of Lancaster.

OR
Cross either bridge into Philadelphia.  Follow signs to Route 95 South.  Exit Route 95 at 322 West.  Take 322 West to Route 1 South (turn left at the Route 1 light).  Take Route 1 South to Route 41.  Turn right onto Route 41 at stop sign.  Take 41 North to Route 30 (Gap).  Turn left onto Route 30 going West.  After about 13 miles, the Host Hotel will be on your left on Route 30.
